What is raw art?

The concept of raw art is about getting in touch with your true self and finding your inner artist. Alissa Cohen’s raw art line consists of genuine one of a kind handmade items. Using natural materials, each imaginative and unique piece of artwork is delicately crafted with care and attention to fine detail. Drawing upon the natural world for inspiration allows the heart of each piece to come alive.

Our jewelry is inspired by and created from natural materials. Jewelry and other items are made with or taken from impressions of objects found in nature. The essence of each item is given new life as it is finished with precious metals and gemstones. Free form organic structures like a simple leaf or twig come alive, capturing and preserving the essence of nature.
